Summer Sewing Camp 2024 - Landscape Embroidery! Hand Stitching (June 24-28, 10:00-12:00)
Room for 12 students
Gilbert, Arizona. Designed specifically for boys and girls (ages 6 and up). Prior sewing experience not required! In this camp students will build their skills and make multiple projects that they can show off to friends and family while learning more complex types of machine and hand sewing.
Classes are for 5 days, 2 hours each day.
Students will create their own beautiful 8 inch embroidery hoop filled with a gorgeous landscape and so many vibrant stitches and features! Your student will pick their own fabrics and make sheep, barns, hay bales, flowers, trees, fences....and more. They will learn how to sew french knots, lazy daisies, bullion roses, seed stitches, woven stitches, running stitches....and on and on. They will "sign" the back in stitches and attach a ribbon so they can keep it forever (hoop and all!).
Cost: $275, includes all fabric/supplies ($60 value).

Each student is free to bring their own water. Please download and sign the waiver after you register. You can scan it and send it to makesewing@gmail or bring it on the first day of camp. Make sure your email address is correct since that's the one I use to send out information (a phone number is especially helpful too).
Cancellation policy: Cancellations made by the Saturday before camp will be completely refunded.
