Adult Project Sewing Class - Large Drawstring Pouch - Saturday, October 3, 2026 - 1:30-4:00
WHAT IS IT? In this adult sewing class we will make a beautiful large drawstring pouch — 10" x 10" with canvas fabric. This is a fun and skill-building project you'll love using!
SKILLS YOU'LL LEARN:
- Double fold drawstring
- Fabric casing
- Sewing curves
- Sewing a lining
- Topstitching
- Sewing straight lines
Each class is 2.5 hours long and all supplies will be provided (I'll have a great selection of fabrics to choose from!). I have room for up to 12 students in each class.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING? Nothing! Sewing machines, supplies, and tools are provided! You are free to bring your own sewing machine if you want to work on it (just show up 5-10 minutes early and please bring the manual and extra parts with it).
Feel free to bring a water bottle.
WHO CAN COME? This class is for adults and teens. You must know how to use a computerized sewing machine and be familiar with sewing. If you have taken our Beginner Class this is a great next class for you!
Cancellation policy. Please let me know ASAP when you need to cancel as there is always a waiting list for this class. Cancellations up to 2 days before class=refund. Cancellations within 2 days=credit for another class. Cancellation on day of class=no refund.
