W12 Kids Intermediate + Pattern Sewing (bags,etc) - Wednesday 12:00-1:30, January-May 2025
For kids who have completed the Intermediate 2 semester. Begins the week of Jan 27. Ends the week of May 1.
Minimum class size is 5. We may cancel if there aren't enough students (so tell your friends!).
INTERMEDIATE + STUDENTS: This semester we will focus solely on sewing with commercial sewing patterns including shopping for our fabrics (here!) and cutting out each pattern piece while learning how to read a pattern and transfer all the markings and symbols. We will be using patterns for a tote, and a variety of smaller patterns including a zipper project. The goal is to prepare your student for sewing patterns at home as well as moving on to the garment pattern class.
*Every child works and learns at a different pace so we can't guarantee each child will finish every planned project.
1 class per week for a total of 10 weeks (with the exception of holiday weeks and spring break weeks). Each class is 1.5 hours long. There is 1 make up class the week after the semester officially ends for students who missed a class. We cannot guarantee more make up classes if a student misses more than one class during the semester.
SICKNESS POLICY: Please don't send your student if they have any symptoms of sickness. There is an included makeup class at the end of each semester.
Cost: 375.00 per student. Sewing machines and all supplies are included.
