T4 Kids BEYOND Intermediate Commercial Patterns - Tuesday 4:30-6:00, Jan-May 2025
For kids who have completed the Intermediate 2 semester. Begins the week of Jan 27. Ends the week of May 1.
Minimum class size is 5. We may cancel if there aren't enough students (so tell your friends!).
INTERMEDIATE 2 STUDENTS: Each student will continue to master their sewing machine skills. BUT now we will be working with commercial patterns so they will gain the knowledge and skills to work with patterns at home. Students will work at their own pace but we will cover a lot of ground and have a lot of fun!

*Every child works and learns at a different pace so we can't guarantee each child will finish every planned project.
Beyond Intermediate
McCall's 8422 pattern - This pattern is a plushie (student chooses which animal) with bent arms (learning darts!) and pleated ears as well as other new skills like circular contrast feet and facial applique. Student will be working with tracing paper and tools as well as learning to transfer a variety of marking to their fabric. Pattern includes a garment for the plushie which has a variety of new skills and is good practice for personal garments. WHILE THIS IS A CUTE PATTERN THIS IS NOT A SIMPLE CLASS AND THIS PATTERN WAS CHOSEN FOR THE GREAT VARIETY OF SKILLS IT TEACHES (PLUS IT'S CUTE!).
Students who complete the first pattern will move on to Simplicity 9308.
1 class per week for a total of 10 weeks (with the exception of holiday weeks and spring break weeks). Each class is 1.5 hours long. There is 1 make up class the week after the semester officially ends for students who missed a class. We cannot guarantee more make up classes if a student misses more than one class during the semester.
SICKNESS POLICY: Please don't send your student if they have any symptoms of sickness. There is an included makeup class at the end of each semester.
Cost: 375.00 per student. Sewing machines and all supplies are included.
