MONDAY 2:00-3:30 Kids Quilting - Sept-Nov 2025 M2Q
Begins the week of September 8. Ends the last week of November.
REQUIREMENTS
This is not a beginner class. This project class is for students who have completed at least one semester in the beginner level and can sew consistent, accurate, straight lines. If the student is struggling with their lines then they should wait to take this class until they have more experience.
This class combines quilting students of all levels. They will each work on a skill appropriate project.
Quilting
In this class students will spend the semester creating a quilt from beginning (patchwork) to end (binding). The quilt will go home at the end of the semester.
Skills we will cover
precision piecing
accurate seam pressing
nesting seams
attaching borders at correct angles
marking accurate lines
attaching a quilting foot to the machine
creating and attaching custom quilt label
binding, and more!
1 class per week for a total of 10 weeks (with the exception of holiday weeks and break weeks). Each class is 1.5 hours long. There is 1 make up class the week after the semester officially ends for students who missed a class. We cannot guarantee more make up classes if a student misses more than one class during the semester.
SICKNESS POLICY: Please don't send your student if they have any symptoms of sickness. There is an included makeup class at the end of each semester.
Cost: 395.00 per student. Sewing machines and all supplies are included.
