Adult Zipper Class - Saturday, May 18, 2024 - 10:00-12:30
WHAT IS IT? In this adult sewing class we will learn how to use the zipper foot on the sewing machine. We'll make 2 zipper bags... one unlined zipper bag and then a lined zipper pouch in order to cover 2 different methods.
Each class is 2.5 hours long and all supplies will be provided (I'll have a great selection of fabrics to chose from!). We will cover everything you need to know about attaching a zipper foot to your machine, how to set your needle position, how to install a zipper and line a zipper bag. Plus you will create 2 projects to take with you!
Each class is 70.00 per student. I have room for up to 10 students in each class.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING? Sewing machines, supplies, and tools are provided! You are free to bring your own sewing machine if you want to work on it (just show up 5-10 minutes early and please bring the manual and extras parts with it).
Feel free to bring a (non-messy) snack and water bottle.
WHO CAN COME? This class is for adults who want to learn how to make zipper bags. You must know how to use a computerized sewing machine and be familiar with sewing. If you have taken our Beginner Class this is a great class for you.
Cancellation policy. Please let me know ASAP when you need to cancel as there is always a waiting list for this class. Cancellations up to 2 days before class=refund. Cancellations within 2 days=credit for another class. Cancellation on day of class=no refund.
